I've hit the lotto....

Is what I thought when I entered JC Penney's yesterday afternoon. You see friends my lotto is not of monetary value it is much much bigger. My lotto is love. Love for another country full of beautiful people. Love for a place that has given my family so much. Love for Guatemala. As I continue to prepare myself daily for the upcoming trip back in May God led me to JC Penneys. I was suppose to be headed out grocery shopping but, instead ended up there. Man, oh man am I ever glad God took the wheel on that day.

As I walked in and headed around the corner I saw it $1.97. Those BIG green signs..those beautiful clearance signs. I rushed right over and started grabbing up several items. With each item I grabbed I saw the most beautiful pair of big brown eyes. The eyes of a child in need. The eyes of a child who wants and deserves to be loved.

TRUST ME I could have bought out the store but, made myself stop. Actually, I put back several items. Charity (neighbor friend going with me) and I headed out shopping a few weeks ago and purchased about 20 outfits, socks and panties. So, I needed to make sure that I was purchasing the sizes we needed before double purchasing them. Man, I hope that made sense.

When I headed up to check out I asked one of the ladies there how much these one particular shirts were at the counter. She said $1.18 and I was like what?!?!? PRAISE GOD they were an additional off. So, for $22/tax included I purchased 8 shirts for boys (both long and short sleeve), 1 pair of jeans and 9 shirts for girls (both long and some short sleeve). Again, PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!

Here are some of the clothes that were purchased yesterday.

What sizes do you need? I'd love to go, but doubt that I'd be able to get time from work....so I'd be glad to donate!
