1st Snow, 74 degrees and Tornado WARNINGS....

ALL in the same week. Can you believe it???? We sure couldn't!!! The snow started early in the morning on the 31st of Jan. So, the kids school closed on that day and the following day Feb. 1st. Yes, I know some of my blogger buddies are laughing right now because of our "little" snow and the fact that our kids missed school because of that. Well, I guess I should add that we had some ice underneathe that snow not a lot but, enough to make it slick. I was SO happy to see the snow..I LOVE having the kiddos home with me. :)

Here's a picture of Joshua out on our deck. Yes, that is a blanket under him...daddy didn't want his little bootie to get cold. :) Well, as you can see he wasn't to impressed by it. So, after about 5 minutes or so we brought him in.....

and THIS is what happened!!! See, I told you he can throw a fit. It doesn't happen often but, when it does boy, he can get MAD!!!! In case you're wondering YES like in good mother he GOT his way. :) Michael put his coat back on him and we headed back out for just a few minutes. Man, it was COLD outside.


Now, I want you to look really closely to the date on the photo above us. Do you see it??? It says Feb. 1st now, look at the one below. It says Feb. 5th. I just had to take Joshua outside to get his picture taken. It was 74 degrees!!!! Just a few days before we had snow and some ice and now look at it. We had such a great time outside playing. I took Joshua out for a stroll while Michael played basketball with the girls. Some of our new babies were out and about so, we got a chance to visit with them. Joshua is going to have TONS of friends. As of right now we have 4 or 5 baby boys (Joshua included) and 1 little girl down our road. We are expecting more!!!!! By the end of the summer we should have 8 or 9 boys and 2 girls. YEAH....we are going to have TONS of play dates. Although, we had a GREAT time outside with our little buddies we had to come back in because the winds started to pick up. Later, on that evening the HUGE storms started to roll through and so, did the tornado warnings. The next morning we woke up the temps had dropped into the 40's....YUCK!!!!! Man, oh man I can't wait until SPRING!!!!!!
