I spoke with another Angel.....

and her name was/is Glenda. Yesterday afternoon I came home to a message from a lady that lives in Miami. She stated that she was a friend of MariaLuisa's (my FM) and was wondering if Joshua was okay. MariaLuisa had contacted her because she hadn't heard from us in about 4 wks. When I received the message I knew she was an angel sent by God. One thing that we promised MariaLuisa when we brought Joshua home is that we indeed would keep in contact with her. The only thing I wondered was how. I knew we could send pictures via email but, I wanted a more personal connection but, again how????

One way was through a dear sweet friend we will call her Angel #1 Amy. You see my good friend Amy brought home her little Guatemalan princesa Samantha (AKA Future DIL) in January '08. She lovingly carried a package down for me then when she picked up her little cutie. As a matter of fact I clearly remember crying with her over the phone because I was SOO thrilled that she was willing to give of herself in that way. Prior to that in Dec. '07 her and her husband listened to God's calling again and flew to Guatemala and accepted the referral of there extremely handsome little son named Geovany. They just recently went to visit him again in Nov. and graciously took down another package for me. Again, I am truly blessed.

So, how could life get any better you ask. I do have the contact with MariaLuisa I had so hoped for. Well, here in comes Angel #2 Glenda.

As I stated earlier I received a call from her. Make a long story short we played tag team for awhile then we connected. Last night we finally connected. Glenda told me that she had just hung up the phone with MariaLuisa. She then said that she would call her back and let her know how we are doing. We talked for about 20 min. and during that time I learned several things. One being that she has known my FM since she was 5 (now 50), she has sat with MariaLuisa many times @ 5am looking at pictures of Joshua as well as her other babies, she speaks with her at least 3 times a week, she will be getting an email account by tomorrow and one of the BEST things she will be leaving for Guatemala on the 20th and will be staying with her. I asked her if it would be okay to send a gift down through her and she said YES!!! I mean not just yes but, a HAPPY YES!!!!!!!!! She also told me that if I ever need to tell MariaLuisa anything that she will call her for me and to also email her letters and she would translate them to English. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!! Oh, and one of my friends asked me today if I know how to do 3 way calling. That way I could call Glenda in Miami and then she could call MariaLuisa for me. Not only could I hear her sweet voice but, she too could hear Joshua's. Oh, and oops she visits Guatemala every 3 months...WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! I have 2 great forms of contact with her 1 being Amy and the other Glenda. Oh, and how could I forget this she is TRYING to get her to visit AMERICA!!!!! If this happens Joshua and I will be bound for Miami. WOOHOO!!!!!!!

So, I guess I ONLY thought I was done with my Christmas shopping. I am SOOO excited about sending this to her. BTW: I received a call from her son today and he gave us Glenda's email address. Again, PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!
