A day in Antigua

After our Embassy appt. we headed out to Antigua. We had a great time getting together with friends, eating and of course shopping. We arrived to Antigua around 12pm and headed over to the El Mercidito...a wonderful market located next to Cafe Condessa. As we were crossing the street we were being flagged down. It was Joshua's lady friend from there. You see Joshua became quite the "ladies man" when we were there in July and it was nice to see that it was holding true then. We went over to her and she grabbed him up and kissed all over him. She thanked us for bringing him back to see her and for us giving him a home. She is such a wonderful lady and I hope we get to meet her again in the future. After speaking with her for a bit we went back across the street to Central Parque and waited for our friends.

I was SO excited to see Julie, Bailey, Roberta (Julie's mom) and of course Mr. Gavin. He is such a little doll ooops sorry I meant to say he's "HANDSOME"!!! :) We visited for a few minutes and then came another friend of mine Laurie and her son Noah. I met them on a previous trip back in July. I am SO happy to announce that Gavin is NOW FOREVER home with his mommy and BIG sister and Noah is in PGN....WOOHOO!!!!! Praying he is SOON home forever. God has blessed me more than I could have ever imagined. NOT only has he given me this AMAZING child but, friends to boot. I am SO lucky!!!!!!

We all visited for a few and then headed out to eat. I just LOVED being back there. It brought back so many wonderful memories for me!!! The time spent there with Joshua, my mother and daughters will always NEVER be erased from my mind. We all grew SO much during that trip. I just still couldn't believe I was back there with Joshua the ONLY difference was this time he WOULD BE going home with us!!!!!!! That place will always have a piece of my heart. We decided to eat at Quesos Y Vino (Italian place) which I really liked...hubby NOT so much....shopped around and the YES went for ice cream at Saritia's....MMMMMM GOOD!!!!!

Joshua was such a little trooper on that visit. He greeted the day with a smile and ended it the same way. I am SO in LOVE!!!!!!!

Kelly, Michael and Joshua-
I felt so blessed to be able to see you again. It is so fitting that we were able to spend time together on our first visit and then again on pick-up. I thank God everyday Kelly for the friend I have in you... and it was such a pleasure to take this journey with you. I only pray it just the beginning !
God Bless-
Julie
