Joshua's bedding

Well, I finally did it....I ordered his bedding and I just LOVE it!!!!! I know you must be thinking what in the world took you so long. The thought of having his room "complete" without him for so, long hurt!!! But, I don't know something hit and today was the day. Do you think maybe GOD is telling me something? Oh, how I hope and pray he is. We want him home so, bad!!!

When we first started this journey Michael was all into having a sports bedding or construction site. But, on that most WONDERFUL referral day when we saw our son we just knew that wasn't him. So, off we started looking...looking and looking. A couple months back we decided upon a jungle theme and after weeks of research and several trees later (copies) the decision had been made. You see I got what I wanted with the girls so, I thought I would be nice and let him pick out his son's bedding. So, without further ado here it is: NOJO Jungle babies bedding!!!!

So, what do you think? I know it's a little blurry but, it's the best I could do. CUTE huh!!!! Each little animal has a different texture. Oh, I can just see us sitting in the floor playing a having his little hands rubbing all over it. I ordered the bedding set..which included the comforter, sheet, bumper pad, dust ruffle, diaper stacker and one valance. Then we needed another valance, wall hangings, lamp shade and YES the matching blanket. All in all I did really well. Trust me I wanted that laundry hamper but, I tried to think ahead and ALL I could see was Joshua tipping it over ALL the time and throwing the clothes everywhere. This will probably still happen but, at least his "plain" hamper will be in the closet.

I can't wait until it arrives...it's due to be shipped August 15th and arrival is anticipated for August 20th-24th. The 20th is our anniversary!!!! Wouldn't it be GREAT to start decorating his room on that day. I know your probably thinking but, it's your anniversary. Yeah, I know were a "boring" old married couple. :) But, to us that would be the best thing to do!!!!!!

While I was in G this last visit I purchased a giraffe to put in his room and YES, of course the rocking horse. I know it doesn't "match" the theme of the room but, it was just TOO CUTE to pass up. I also, brought back one of his outfits and will shadow box it and hang in his room. It's so, cute....it's a little green and white checkered overall short outfit with a turtle on it and a matching green jacket. I didn't bring it home last time but, our FM was so kind and she brought it to me when we gave him back to her. BTW I have a pic of him in this CUTE outift on the side. On our previous trip I bought a handmade blanket with different Guatemalan children that I will display in his room and also, a hand painted pic of a Jaguar. I just can't wait!!!! I will be sure to post pics when his room is complete. Yet, again I say "Do you think GOD is telling me something"?

Sorry for all the rambling but, I guess that's what this blog is for. Everyone have a GREAT day and remember keep praying ALL of our kiddos home!!! God Bless.
