a lady was in labor preparing to give birth to her child. A child that later she would place for adoption. I'm figuring that this time last year she was in terrible pain and possibly very sad. But, she continued on and at 10:25pm she gave birth to her son a child whom she would name Dylan Josue Aifan Villasenor. She took her baby home spent a couple weeks with him and then gave him up for adoption.
In another part of the world a lady was at home with her family preparing for the holidays. The trees and house were decorated but, the shopping had yet to be complete. This lady had prayed for many years about adoption and her husband had now been touched by the Lord also. They both wanted to get through the holidays and at the beginning of the year would begin there journey of faith to a child in Guatemala.
I am honored to stand here today 1 year later with tears in my eyes and tell you the child that this amazing lady gave birth to is now our son. A child whom in his short time here on earth has touched the hearts of so many. He has had the love of his birth mom, foster mom and family and now ours. The journey to him was hard at times but, OH SO WORTH IT!!!! I LOVE this little boy with every ounce of my being!!!!!!!!!
Even though a year later is happy for me I am saddened when I think of my birth mom. I continue to wonder IF she is thinking of him and IF so, how hard this day must be for her. I will continue to pray for PEACE for this lady whom I am honored to call my birth mom.
Thank you Evelyn for giving birth to this wonderful little boy and Thank you GOD for leading us down this path and seeing us through it. I give you ALL THE GLORY.

Kelly,
What a beautiful tribute to your birth mom. Many times my mind will wander to Samantha's birth mom and I pray for her peace. Thanks for sharing your heart.
Blessings,
Amy
